Nashua & Pennichuck Water Works

As many of you know, I am a lawyer for the firm of Upton & Hatfield and have spent the last 4 years representing the City of Nashua in its efforts to acquire the Pennichuck Water Works.

The case went to trial during the month of September before the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. There were some 15,000 pages of exhibits and over 25 witnesses. On November 16, 2007, we submitted a 75 page brief outlining the City's case that is hosted on the City's web site: A copy of the brief and can be downloaded here.

I won't promise that it's as exciting as Harry Potter. However, those interested in utility, water supply or municipal government issues may find it interesting.
